Can Knova AI Connector change or delete our data, or does it just answer questions?
By default, it only reads. Knova AI Connector answers questions from your live Odoo data but does not change, delete, or create records unless you specifically ask us to enable controlled actions for particular workflows. Most clients run read-only permanently — it is an option you switch on deliberately, never a default behaviour you have to opt out of.
Which AI assistants or models actually work with this?
Knova AI Connector works with any AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol, or MCP, the modern standard for connecting AI to live business systems. Rather than locking you into one chatbot brand, we connect your Odoo through MCP, so any MCP-compatible assistant your team already uses can query it directly.
What does setup involve on our side — do we need to change our Odoo?
Very little. Knova AI Connector links to the Odoo you already run; it does not require rebuilding or replacing anything. We set up the MCP connection, scope permissions so people only query what they are allowed to see, and configure query logging if you want an audit trail. Your data stays inside your own Odoo the whole time.
